Context
Facilitated a UI/UX design project in collaboration with Ngee Ann Polytechnic Library. Developed two A2 infographic posters to streamline the student book lending process. I identified UX pain points, designed user-centered solutions, and executed all visual and ideational design individually using an Alice in Wonderland theme to develop clean and interactive behavior.
Project Overview 📌:
In collaboration with Ngee Ann Polytechnic Library, I independently designed two A2 infographic posters to address common student pain points in the book lending process. Inspired by the Alice in Wonderland theme, the posters used engaging storytelling and intuitive visuals to guide users through borrowing procedures in a fun yet functional way. The goal was to enhance usability and encourage more seamless library interactions.
Reflective Commentary:
As part of a UI/UX collaboration with Ngee Ann Polytechnic Library, I was tasked with improving the student book borrowing experience through visual communication. After identifying key user pain points through research, I independently designed two A2 infographic posters using an Alice in Wonderland theme to create an engaging yet functional experience. I applied user-centered design principles, structured visual hierarchy, and intuitive storytelling to guide students through the borrowing process. The project strengthened my abilities in UX thinking, design execution, and visual storytelling, while receiving positive feedback from library staff. Moving forward, I aim to explore more interactive formats like motion graphics or touchscreen interfaces and deepen my use of user testing to enhance future design projects.
