Context
Redesigned the NP Go mobile app prototype based on a user persona. Focused on improving UI aesthetics and UX flow with five core features. Used Adobe XD to create a clean, modern interface with intuitive navigation. Conducted usability testing and refined the prototype based on feedback to ensure functionality, accessibility, and alignment with user needs.
Reflective Commentary:
Tasked with improving an existing mobile app for a UI/UX module, I began by identifying a relevant app and analyzing its interface and competitors. I developed a user persona to guide my design choices and proposed a complete redesign strategy focused on user-centered experience. I produced wireframes, applied UI principles like hierarchy, typography, and layout consistency, and built a functional prototype showcasing five features. I also conducted usability testing with potential users and incorporated feedback to refine the prototype. This project strengthened my ability to design for clarity, navigate software like Illustrator and Figma, and apply research to real-world UX problems. Moving forward, I aim to expand my skills in user testing and motion-based UI design.
